Find out where you can take your wannabe Ninja Warrior to learn Parkour and Ninja skills. We have visited and tested Ninja parks across Brisbane and beyond where they can indulge in a little free-running, climbing and jumping over challenging obstacle courses.

Urban Xtreme Ninja Course
Urban Xtreme is a full-on action-packed adventure centre on the north side of Brisbane. You can ski, bounce or climb here … or take on the Ninja challenge! The Xtreme Ninja course is open to children aged 8 years and above who are at least 130cm tall, and closed shoes must be worn.

Crank Indoor Climbing
Crank Indoor Climbing has amazing rock climbing walls and bouldering areas, but the fun doesn’t stop there – they have an awesome Parkour course too! Participants must be 8 years or older but you can enter on a casual pass or sign up to one of their term-time Youth Parkour development programs. Stunt Park Ninja Course
Stunt Park has something for everyone – even for toddlers aged 2 years up! As you might guess from the name there are a LOT of skills on offer here, from learning action movie stunts to developing your inner Ninja Warrior on the obstacle course. Children can sign up for the 4-week Ninja Warrior training course, or book in for a stunt training session. Brisbane Parkour Association
The original Ninja Warriors were the Parkour free-runners, using fitness, strength and balance to overcome physical and mental obstacles in awe-inspiring displays of agility. The Brisbane Parkour Association aims to teach those skills to boys and girls aged from 7 years up in a number of locations across Brisbane. Find out more on their website!

Ninja Central, Orion Springfield
It used to be play cafés that dominated the kid scene in shopping centres, but in the Orion Shopping Centre in Springfield they’ve gone Ninja! Ninja Central on the ground floor is open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays, and the obstacles change every month to keep things fresh and exciting. The great thing about Ninja Central is that they offer Mini Ninjas for children from just walking to 4-years old (a 45-minute free play session every Wednesday morning, perfect for mums’ groups!) and a variety of passes for older kids from a single lap of the Ninja course to a full day pass.

Obstacle Obsession
Obstacle obsession in Mt Cotton is an authentic outdoor obstacle course in the exhilarating “mud run” format. The personal trainers there will take kids through weekly fun obstacle training, ½ day camps and school holiday camps, and will even host your Ninja birthday party! Children from 5 years up are welcome to come and get dirty in some good old fashioned fun.

Bounce X-Park
It used to be all about flips and aerials on the trampolines at Bounce, but now there’s an extra challenge to your agility with the Bounce X-Park. The X-Park has challenges modelled on the TV show Ninja Warrior course, with ‘floating steps’, net walls and rock walls, beams, trampolines, and a flying fox. It’s all included in your entry price but closed-toe shoes must be worn on the X-Park course and participants need to be a minimum 125cm tall. Read our review of Bounce here.

My First Gym
My First Gym aims to bring a love of exercise and movement to children of all ages from baby to teen, with a range of fun classes on offer. Build your own Ninja Warrior course
If you’ve got the space, they’ve got the equipment! There are several businesses in Brisbane who can supply and install a variety of Ninja course equipment and materials. If your child is dedicated to practicing their Parkour skills, and money and space are no ‘obstacle’ (sorry!), a Google search will amaze you with what’s on offer.
Alternatively, little ones can have heaps of fun in your own backyard with a DIY obstacle course. A little imagination can turn household items and toys such as rope, baskets, and outdoor toys into a range of fun challenges. Take a look here for inspiration.
