Dunlop Park Memorial Swimming Pool offers YEAR-ROUND swimming for Brisbane families – have you been to check it out yet with your family?

Dunlop Park Memorial Swimming Pool is a fabulous venue for children and parents of all ages. This venue has several wading and play pools for younger children, outdoor leisure and lap pools. There are also indoor programs pool, and lots of shaded areas for relaxing and picnicking with the family. Dunlop Park Pool underwent extensive renovations in 2016 and is looking bright, fresh and modern under new management.

What’s there?

Dunlop Park Memorial Pool has a 15m indoor programs pool and a 50m outdoor pool with shade at one end (both pools are heated!), a water play area and wading pool with slides, coffee and snack kiosk, free electric barbecues in a shaded picnic area, disabled pool access and facilities, and even a KIDS CLUB where children are supervised by staff while parents and carers enjoy some valuable ‘me-time’ in the pool themselves.

Great! When is it open?

Dunlop Park has summer and winter season opening hours, and is open daily except Christmas Day and Anzac Day. The pool opens at 5am weekdays, 6am Saturdays, 8am Sundays and 9am on public holidays. During winter season the pool closes at 1pm on weekends but it stays open later for all day fun in the summer. The wading pool operates during summer season only.

Is Dunlop Park Memorial Pool accessible?

Yes, there is disabled access available to the pool and special facilities onsite.

Prices:

Adults (15 years and over) $5.40; children aged 2-14 years $3.90; children under two are free. Discounted family passes and multi-visit passes are also available.

Entry Conditions:

Children aged five years and younger and non-swimmers must be within arms reach of a parent or guardian at all times while in the water. Children aged six to 10 years must be accompanied by a supervising person aged 18 years or over, either in the water or poolside. Children aged 11-14 years must be regularly checked by a supervising adult.
